Reading ‘Vector Signs’:
  • Signs indicate orientations of lines-of-motion (not ‘points’ or ‘destinations’)
  • Shapes of the inclinational symbols determines flat, steep, or suspended.
  • When there is a dot, the motion goes downward toward the dot.
  • When there is not any dot, the motion goes upward toward the point of the sign.
  • There is not any symbol for ‘centre’ (‘centre’ is not a motion).
